I am delighted to be the first artist to exhibit at the new Alder Gallery based in the office of Mary Arnold-Forster Architects, Dunkeld, who also publish Alder Magazine. Alder Gallery will be showing work by artists and makers who share their interest in landscape, reuse and materiality.
In Unfolding, earths from the crumbling coast of Britain have been made into prints with unfolded cardboard boxes from my own recycling bin. New forms emerge as I combine colours from the distant geological past with shapes from the ephemeral containers of our consumer ‘goods’.
The exhibition is on from 14 June to 6 August. Open during office hours (9-5) or by appointment.
